Skyworld arranges sale of ERJ 135 to JETGO, Australia
Saab 340B sold to SOL Lineas Aereas, Argentina
On behalf of Sverigeflg Leasing AB, Skyworld Aviation has finalised the sale of a Saab 340B to SOL Lineas Aereas of Argentina. Skyworld Aviation originally placed serial number 168 (LV-CSK) on lease in 2011 and the airline has exercised its right to purchase the aircraft. The operator now operates a fleet of four owned Saab 340s and one leased CRJ 200.
Estonian Air takes delivery of two CRJ 700’s
In a transaction arranged by Skyworld Aviation we are delighted to announce the delivery of two CRJ 700 aircraft to Estonian Air. Serial number 10085 (ES-ACF) was delivered on 2nd October and serial number 10083 (ES-ACE) on 9th October. Both CRJ 700’s are already in service with the Estonian airline alongside three existing CRJ 900’s.
Fokker 50 sold on behalf of VLM Airlines, into Kenya
On behalf of VLM Airlines of Belgium, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of a Fokker 50 (serial number 20121) to a Kenyan leasing entity Gikama Ltd. Previously OO-VLR, the 1988 built aircraft has been re-registered as 5Y-WFA and will be leased to Rudufu Ltd, a Nairobi-based airline. Rudufu has passenger and cargo operations in East and Central Africa mostly in the charter sector, and serves International relief and humanitarian organisation contracts. The aircraft arrived in Kenya on 8th August.
ERJ 145 lease extensions arranged with ADI owner
On behalf of a Swedish investment firm Cymus Holding AB, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the lease extensions relating to two ERJ 145 EP’s operating with Aerodynamics, Inc (ADI), based in Atlanta, Georgia. The lease extensions relate to serial numbers 145169 and 145185 and were negotiated with ADI’s new owner, ADI Acquisition Co., a special purpose company set up by the owners of SeaPort, a regional airline based in Portland, Oregon. SeaPort flies regional routes on the West Coast and in the Southeast and Central Southeast United States and plans to link Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport with Chicago O’Hare as soon as DOT approval is granted.
Saab 340A Cargo sold to Easy Fly Express of Bangladesh
On behalf of Sverigeflyg Leasing AB of Sweden, Skyworld Aviation is pleased to have arranged the sale of one Saab 340A Cargo aircraft, serial number 089, to Bangladesh operator Easy Fly Express Ltd. The aircraft was previously on lease to a Caribbean cargo operator (registered as 6Y-JXD) – a deal which Skyworld also arranged. The aircraft has been re-registered as S2-AIF. Easy Fly Express has until recently operated one HS 748 freighter aircraft which will be replaced by this, their first Saab 340, and the first of the type in Bangladesh. The carrier operates scheduled cargo services as well as domestic and international charter services from its Dhaka base. Serial number 089 was delivered to Dhaka over the weekend.

Two Saab 340A’s sold on behalf of Markpoint International
On behalf of Markpoint International Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of two Saab 340A aircraft, serial numbers 051 and 136. The aircraft were previously in operation with Mali Air Express and have since been in long term storage in Orebro, Sweden. The aircraft have been sold on to Western Air of the Bahamas. Western Air is headquartered at San Andros International Airport and its current fleet consists of five Saab 340As which operate daily scheduled flights between Nassau, San Andros, Congo Town, Bimini, and Freeport, Grand Bahama. Western Air also has a charter division that offers on-demand charters throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, Central and South America. The airline is currently the largest privately owned airline in the Bahamas and employs over 140 full time employees.
Skyworld Aviation completes disposal of Blue Islands J32 fleet
On behalf of Blue Islands of Guernsey, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of two Jetstream 32 aircraft to start up airline S-Air of Austria. S-Air took delivery of serial number 915 in December 2014 which is currently located in Malmö, Sweden. The sale of the second aircraft, serial number 873, closed yesterday and was ferried to Friedrichshafen, Germany. Both aircraft await interior and exterior refurbishment and will eventually bear the new registration marks OY-SGP and OY-ZEA.
