Skyworld Aviation is an aircraft marketing organisation, specialising in the regional sector with offices in the UK and Canada. We offer marketing, lease management and consultancy services to a large client base worldwide and this latest Dash 8 Q400 deal takes us to a milestone of over 500 transactions concluded. Since 1996 we have accumulated an impressive list of nearly 200 clients across 50 countries and the total value of transactions equals over $950 million. It also cements Skyworld Aviation as one of the leading INDEPENDENT marketing organisations, assisting a variety of companies in their fleet management, including airlines, lessors and financial institutions.

TRANSACTION HISTORY

Skyworld Aviation prides itself on being specialists in the regional aircraft market and we have remained loyal to our regional aircraft pedigree throughout our 19 years of trading. 94% of our total transactions have been in the under 120 seat category, with an overall 65/35 split between Turboprops and Jets. In the last 5 years, this split has turned on its head with an approximate 40/60 split, reflecting the general trend of larger regional jets entering the used market as well as Skyworld’s extensive experience in the regional jet market. Activity has also spread to a wider reach in recent years, with approximately 30% of transactions taking place outside of Europe and North America. Nearly 20% have involved U.S-based buyer’s/lessee’s, and the remaining transactions have resulted in European aircraft placements. Skyworld Aviation continues to explore opportunities in new territories with an expanding portfolio of aircraft and clients, and we look forward to celebrating 20 years of trading in 2016.
