After being employed by BAE and Saab aircraft on the BAE 146 and Saab 340 sales teams, Chris joined the Salénia Group to manage their diverse fleet of regional aircraft working closely with Skyways and other airlines in the group. In 1996 Chris set up Skyways Aviation as a subsidiary of Salénia to gain market recognition and grow third party activities. In 2009 Chris arranged a management buy out from Salénia and the company was renamed Skyworld Aviation, reflecting the extensive third party activity worldwide. During the last few years Skyworld has moved into the ATR and Embraer E-Jet markets thereby reinforcing its regional credentials. Chris is a keen aviator and holds a private pilots license.
Juliet has been with Skyworld Aviation since 2000. As well as managing, handling and developing sales leads, Juliet oversees all Skyworld’s marketing activities. She responds to RFP’s/tenders in the form of aircraft marketing proposals, provides market analysis and is involved in technical and commercial issues associated with transactions. Juliet has a strong interest in aviation and holds a PPL-A.
Assistant to MD/Lease Portfolio Mgr
Kati joined Skyways Aviation in 2003 with the responsibility of managing all administrative functions in the office. Kati is also involved in the day to day accounts including weekly management accounts for the Directors and monthly invoicing. She handles the asset management side of the business looking after maintenance reserves and claims. Kati also arranges all the travel for the Skyworld team.
Business Development, Toronto office
Based in our Toronto branch, Andrew focuses on business development opportunities, primarily in the USA, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Andrew has been involved in the regional aircraft sector for more than 30 years, having worked at BAe, Bombardier Inc. and Macquarie Aviation Capital, focusing on aircraft and engine financing and marketing.
Oliver joined the team in 2019 to provide assistance with all marketing activities of the company. Oliver has a BSc in Aviation Management and has a passion for aviation after having spent a significant period volunteering at the legendary Brooklands Museum in the UK, primarily working with the aircraft based there. He also has a side line in flying drones having achieved his license whilst studying Aviation Engineering Management at Purdue University, Indiana.
Sue recently re-joined Skyworld Aviation in 2019, previously working on a temporary basis a few years ago and we are delighted to welcome her back in a permanent role! Sue is responsible for all office related issues as well as providing assistance in marketing activities.
