Earlier this year we were pleased to finalise the sale of an Avro RJ100 on behalf of Braathens of Sweden to the Bahrain Defence Force.
After delivery, serial number E3380 entered maintenance with KLM in Norwich to prepare it for its new role with the BDF, and last month the aircraft emerged from the hangar and headed off to Bahrain with its stunning new look and registration A9C-KAS.
We are delighted to showcase the months of hard work that the BDF and KLM teams put in – the pictures below show what we believe to be one of the best looking examples of this aircraft type since they stopped production in 2002.
