Working in partnership with Grays Online and O’Maras, Skyworld Aviation has been selected to assist in the remarketing of two EMB 135 LR aircraft which were in operation with Jetgo Australia Holdings Pty Ltd (In Liquidation – Receivers and Managers Appointed). Serial numbers 145713 and 145728 are being offered for immediate sale ‘as is where is’. Both were manufactured in 2003 and last flew in March 2018 and June 2018 respectively. The aircraft are equipped with a high standard of avionics being WAAS / LPV / RNAV 5 / RNP compliant as well as having HF radio. Both have undergone an increased design weight modification which gives them a unique enhanced long range capability making them ideal multi-role aircraft.

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the delivery of three Saab 2000’s to the Directorate General Defence Purchase of Pakistan, arranged on behalf of Swedish shipping company Erik Thun AB. The aircraft, serial numbers 024, 038 and 062 were previously in operation with BRA (Braathens Regional Airlines) of Sweden. The original agreement was signed under a formal procedure at the Ministry of Defence Production headquarters in Islamabad on 16th February 2018. Serial number 038 (SE-MFF, now J-038) was the first to be delivered in April 2018, quickly followed by serial number 024 (SE-LTX, now J-024). Serial number 062 (SE-LTU) was the last to depart on Monday 18th June and will be re-registered as J-062.
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the delivery of a further Saab 2000 to Skywork Airlines of Switzerland. Serial number 012 (now registered as HB-IZI) left Täby Air Maintenance, Sweden on Friday evening after undergoing a work package with the Saab aircraft Part 145 maintenance specialist. This aircraft joins five existing Saab 2000 aircraft at Skywork, three of which Skyworld Aviation placed with the operator. HB-IZI was previously operated by BRA – Braathens Regional Airlines and is owned by shipping company Thun AB of Sweden. The aircraft has been placed on long term lease with Skywork. Thun AB is one of Skyworld’s longest standing clients with the first aircraft placed for the organisation back in 1996.
Skyworld Aviation has been appointed to provide lease management services for five aircraft relating to four Saab 2000’s and one ERJ 145. Three Saab 2000 aircraft are owned by Swedish shipping company Erik Thun AB and one is on sub lease from Eastern Airways (UK), all operating with Skywork Airlines of Switzerland. Skyworld Aviation had previously arranged all four leases. The fifth aircraft, relating to an ERJ 145, is on a long term placement with new operator to the type Madagasikara Airways of Madagascar. Skyworld will be providing the service on behalf aircraft leasing firm RESIDCO.
Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sub lease of a Saab 2000 from Eastern Airways of the UK to Skywork Airlines, Switzerland. Technical acceptance of serial number 036 (G-CDEB), took place in Humberside, UK on 9th April. The ferry flight to Skywork Airlines’ operational base in Berne, Switzerland took place shortly afterwards and operated under the existing G registration. The aircraft will formally be delivered in Switzerland and will bear the registration HB-IZT, joining the existing fleet of four Saab 2000s.
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have partnered up with Patrice Candaten of PCC Aero and RESIDCO, a Chicago-based aircraft leasing company, on the long term lease placement of an ERJ 145 to Madagasikara Airways of Madagascar. Serial number 145461 was manufactured in 2001 and had previously operated with Republic Airways. The aircraft was delivered at Kingman Airline Services facility at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on 30th March 2018 and has been re-registered as 5R-AMX. It is due to ferry to Madagascar in the coming days.
Skyworld Aviation has come to the end of 2017 with 21 aircraft transactions completed, and 3 further aircraft planned for delivery in the new year, making a total of 547 transactions in total to date.
Continuing our success in the ERJ market, we concluded 9 transactions involving ERJ 145’s in 2017, five of which were straight sales, three sale and leasebacks and one lease purchase. We have also kept up the momentum on ATR trading having completed four ATR 42 sale transactions.
