Skyworld Aviation has a number of regular clients for which the company sources aircraft, either for purchase or lease. Current projects include satisfying requirements for 30-120 seat aircraft as well as narrowbody aircraft. Although our niche remains the regional aircraft market, requirements for other types of aircraft can easily be taken care of.
Aircraft Remarketing
Skyworld Aviation acts as an exclusive aircraft marketing agent for a number of clients. The company achieves its success through using the team’s combined detailed market knowledge and meticulous targeted marketing. Since its formation, Skyworld Aviation has placed over 410 aircraft through a combination of lease and purchase transactions on behalf of aircraft owners worldwide. Current marketing mandates include a portfolio of Embraer Regional Jets for sale or lease, Dash 8 Q400s for sale or lease (both types being marketed exclusively on behalf of Republic Airlines), Saab 340s for sale or lease and Avro RJ's for sale.
Aircraft Evaluation
With several members of the team having technical and manufacturer backgrounds, Skyworld Aviation is able to carry out in depth evaluations of competing aircraft types, provided on a consultancy basis. Clients for this service have included Air Baltic of Latvia, Blue1 of Finland and Eastern Airways of the UK, all ERAA Airline of the Year Award winners.
Aircraft Valuation
Based on a system of extensive market intelligence, Skyworld Aviation provides accurate and realistic aircraft valuations. The technical status and prevailing market conditions heavily influence any valuation – something which many dedicated valuation companies do not accurately reflect.
Asset/Lease Management
Skyworld Aviation has the capability to manage aircraft lease portfolio’s, monitoring and dealing with commercial and technical issues as they arise. Typically such activity would include administering reserve claims, adjudicating on technical disputes and negotiating lease extensions or revisions. Skyways and Amapola, both of Sweden, have relied upon Skyworld Aviation’s fleet management services for many years.
Contractual Agreements and Commercial Negotiations
Skyworld Aviation offers sound, practical commercial advice and can carry out or assist with most forms of commercial negotiation based on extensive market knowledge. Most aircraft lease and purchase contracts in the Skyways group of companies are dealt with by Skyways Aviation, and many other clients benefit from this service.
Technical Advice and Operational/Technical Support Services
Through its extensive contacts Skyworld Aviation has access to a pool of experienced engineers to be able to provide technical advice and aircraft inspection services. Skyworld Aviation is proud to have recently been selected by Portugalia Airlines to assist in marketing a new Technical and Operational support service to F100 and ERJ operators. Portugalia is offering start up assistance alongside a complete support package which includes Part M technical support services, base maintenance, access to spares pool, OJT training, classroom crew training, type rated instructors and examiners.
