Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have been selected to remarket a Dash 8-311 aircraft by AeroCentury of the U.S. Serial number 238 comes off lease from Norwegian operator Wideroe where the aircraft has operated for over 20 years. Skyworld Aviation has worked with AeroCentury on a number of regional aircraft transactions since 2002 and we are proud to have been chosen to assist with the remarketing of this exceptional example of a Dash 8-300. 
Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sale of two EASA ERJ 145 LR’s, serial numbers 145564 (G-CIYW) and 145601 (G-CIYX). The previous operator was AeroMexico Connect and both aircraft returned from lease to its European owner last year. The aircraft have since been in a storage programme with GC Aviation Maintenance Ltd (GCAM) at Cotswold Airport in the UK, who recently obtained Part 145 approval for the type. GCAM brought both aircraft out of storage for return to service. G-CIYX left Cotswold Airport on Friday 3rd March, bound for its new life with a global aviation services company. The second aircraft, G-CIYW, was purchased by Nilin Group - an EASA Part M maintenance provider based in Turkey.
Working in conjunction with Executive Jet Support in the UK, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of an ATR 42-300 QC to Kolob Canyons Air Services of the U.S. Serial number 122 will ferry to its new owner this week under the existing Canadian registration C-GPEB. Skyworld Aviation and EJS previously worked together on the purchase of this aircraft along with its sister ship from Pascan Aviation and we are pleased to have continued our relationship with EJS by teaming up on this transaction. 
Kolob Canyons Air Services is based out of Tennessee and provides a diverse range of services including Cargo, Air Ambulance, Charter and Fractional Ownership. 
Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale and leaseback of three ERJ 145 aircraft with AeroCentury Corp of the U.S. 
 
AeroCentury Corp. is a global aircraft leasing company which specializes in leasing  turboprop and jet aircraft, as well as engines, to regional air carriers. Skyworld Aviation’s relationship with AeroCentury reaches back to 2002 having worked on many regional aircraft transactions together. AeroCentury now has a portfolio of 33 aircraft appraised at US$220m leased to 12 airlines worldwide.
 
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have arranged the sale of an ATR 42-320 on behalf of long term Channel Islands- based customer Blue Islands. Serial number 066, registered as G-ZEBS, was sold to charter and cargo specialist Fleet Air of Hungary.  The transaction closed on Wednesday 15th March and the aircraft left the Channel Islands on the same day. This is Fleet Air’s entry into the ATR market, having operated Saab 340’s since gaining its AOC in 2007. The aircraft will undergo a conversion to freight use, eventually operating alongside three Saab 340 freighter’s and one Saab 340 in passenger configuration.
 
Skyworld and Blue Islands have worked together on aircraft placements since 2011, and this is the fifth transaction completed on behalf of the airline. Blue Islands is a privately owned operator, established under its current name in 2006.

Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sale of two ATR 42-300 QC’s which were previously in operation with Canadian airline Pascan Aviation. Skyworld Aviation was exclusively marketing the aircraft on behalf of the administrator. Serial numbers 122 (C-GPED) and 158 (C- GPEA) have been sold to UK- based component support specialist Executive Jet Support. 

Other recent unannounced transactions include the sale of two Jetstream 32’s, on behalf of Largus Aviation AB of Sweden. Serial number 841 (previously SE-LHI) was sold on to AVA Air, a flight training specialist based in Martinique. The company plans to launch commercial operations serving neighbouring islands in the Caribbean. 

 
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to welcome Patrice Candaten to the team as Director of Sales. Patrice comes from Embraer where he held the position of Senior Sales Director for more than 18 years. Patrice was instrumental in developing Embraer’s Commercial Aviation brand across Europe, Middle East and Africa and his experience will be invaluable in expanding Skyworld’s exposure and client base, particularly in these regions. Prior to joining Embraer, Patrice spent 12 years with Saab Aircraft, initially with Customer Support responsibilities before moving to the Sales Division of Saab Aircraft International. Patrice’s aviation background started in the French Air Force.
 

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce our appointment by Dougherty Equipment Finance LLC to market an EMB 170-100 (SU) for sale or lease. The aircraft (serial number 17000020) was previously in operation with Republic Airways and was released from service earlier this year. N807MD comes with a dual class configuration of 69 seats (9 first class seats) and can be made available immediately. It is currently located in Rome, NY. Skyworld Aviation is proud to have arranged the sale of an ATR 72-200 to Sprint Air of Poland. Serial number 441 was previously operated by CanaryFly and is now registered as SP-SPE. This is Sprint Air’s first passenger configured ATR 72-200 and is currently operating on ACMI contracts in Europe. Skyworld has worked with Sprint Air since 2005 when they acquired their first two Saab 340A QC aircraft. Since then SprintAir has undergone a rapid fleet expansion and Skyworld Aviation was involved with supplying 6 aircraft out of their current fleet of 12 Saabs.
 
 
 

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce its appointment as remarketing agent for a fleet of five ATR 72-500’s and seven Saab 2000’s operated by Swedish regional airline Braathens Regional. The aircraft are owned by Swedish lessor Erik Thun AB and become available during 2016/17. The ATR 72’s (serial numbers 778, 822, 894, 917, 930) were built between 2008 and 2010 and have largely been operating with Braathens Regional since new. 

 
 
 
Skyworld Aviation is pleased to have arranged a long term ACMI agreement between Danish Air Transport (DAT) of Denmark and Sunrise Airways of Haiti. The aircraft, an ATR 42-320 (serial number 112), is due to start operations in early March and the contract will continue into late 2017. Sunrise Airways currently operates a fleet of three 19 seat Jetstream 32 aircraft, serving Porte au Prince, Cap Haitien, Santo Domingo and Santiago de Cuba.
 
2016 is a momentous year for Skyworld Aviation as it is the 20th year of trading for the aircraft remarketing company. Skyworld Aviation began life as Skyways Aviation back in 1996 - a dedicated aircraft trading/consultancy company working for the Swedish regional airline Skyways. At the time, the airline group operated over 50 aircraft and was majority owned by the Salén family. Skyways Aviation was tasked with evaluating and remarketing surplus fleet, and sourcing aircraft on behalf of the group during a time of great expansion. 

Skyworld Aviation is pleased to have kicked off the year with arranging the sale of an ERJ 145 LR, previously in operation with Aeromexico Connect. Its new owner accepted serial number 145570  on 15th January 2016 and the deal closed on 20th January. For now, the buyer remains confidential. This is Skyworld’s 91st Embraer Jet related transaction, for around 35 clients worldwide which positions us as one of the most successful independent Embraer Jet marketing specialists. We have been privileged to have set many precedents over the years with several Embraer ‘firsts’.....

Last year, Skyworld Aviation announced the sale of two Dash 8 Q400’s to a UK investment firm for onward lease. The transaction was particularly notable since it marked the 500th aircraft transaction for Skyworld - a milestone which we have since well exceeded! We are pleased to announce that the first aircraft, serial number 4354, has now been placed with Aeroflot subsidiary Aurora Airlines of Russia, and it arrived in Moscow in December. According to CH-Aviation, the aircraft will enter into operation on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Tokyo Narita return route, replacing a B737. The airline has acquired a total of three Dash 8 Q400’s (sister ship serial number 4351, and ex-Eznis Airways serial number 4106).

Skyworld Aviation is pleased to have arranged the sale of an ATR 72-202, serial number 444 to Summit Air of Canada. The aircraft was delivered on 25th November 2015 and was flown to Toulouse to undergo a full cargo conversion, including the installation of a Large Cargo Door prior to it entering into operation with Summit.  The aircraft was previously registered as T7-COB and last operated with Royal Air Maroc Express.
 
On behalf of U.S.-based Republic Airways Holdings, the world’s largest operator of Embraer jets, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of a 36-seat ERJ 135 aircraft to charter and scheduled operator JETGO of Australia. The aircraft was originally placed on lease with the airline in early 2013 alongside two other ERJ 135’s to support the local mining industry, but has recently started a scheduled service to run alongside its charter operations. From its Brisbane base, the airline serves Dubbo with six flights per week and Tamworth with seven flights per week, as well as providing services between Townsville, Rockhampton and the Gold Coast.   
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the appointment of Harry Forsythe as Marketing Representative, based in Australia. Harry will assist Skyworld Aviation in further developing its presence in the expanding Australasian market. Harry brings a wealth of aircraft lessor and senior management experience gained primarily from Macquarie Airfinance and AWAS, where he held high profile roles in business development and marketing. 
 

On behalf of Sverigeflg Leasing AB, Skyworld Aviation has finalised the sale of a Saab 340B to SOL Lineas Aereas of Argentina. Skyworld Aviation originally placed serial number 168 (LV-CSK) on lease in 2011 and the airline has exercised its right to purchase the aircraft. The operator now operates a fleet of four owned Saab 340s and one leased CRJ 200.

In a transaction arranged by Skyworld Aviation we are delighted to announce the delivery of two CRJ 700 aircraft to Estonian Air. Serial number 10085 (ES-ACF) was delivered on 2nd October and serial number 10083 (ES-ACE) on 9th October. Both CRJ 700's are already in service with the Estonian airline alongside three existing CRJ 900's.

On behalf of VLM Airlines of Belgium, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of a Fokker 50 (serial number 20121) to a Kenyan leasing entity Gikama Ltd. Previously OO-VLR, the 1988 built aircraft has been re-registered as 5Y-WFA and will be leased to Rudufu Ltd, a Nairobi-based airline. Rudufu has passenger and cargo operations in East and Central Africa mostly in the charter sector, and serves International relief and humanitarian organisation contracts. The aircraft arrived in Kenya on 8th August.

On behalf of a Swedish investment firm Cymus Holding AB, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the lease extensions relating to two ERJ 145 EP's operating with Aerodynamics, Inc (ADI), based in Atlanta, Georgia. The lease extensions relate to serial numbers 145169 and 145185 and were negotiated with ADI's new owner, ADI Acquisition Co., a special purpose company set up by the owners of SeaPort, a regional airline based in Portland, Oregon. SeaPort flies regional routes on the West Coast and in the Southeast and Central Southeast United States and plans to link Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport with Chicago O'Hare as soon as DOT approval is granted.

On behalf of Sverigeflyg Leasing AB of Sweden, Skyworld Aviation is pleased to have arranged the sale of one Saab 340A Cargo aircraft, serial number 089, to Bangladesh operator Easy Fly Express Ltd. The aircraft was previously on lease to a Caribbean cargo operator (registered as 6Y-JXD) - a deal which Skyworld also arranged. The aircraft has been re-registered as S2-AIF. Easy Fly Express has until recently operated one HS 748 freighter aircraft which will be replaced by this, their first Saab 340, and the first of the type in Bangladesh. The carrier operates scheduled cargo services as well as domestic and international charter services from its Dhaka base. Serial number 089 was delivered to Dhaka over the weekend.

Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of two 2011 vintage Q400s, serial numbers 4351 and 4354, to a UK-based investment company for onward lease, details of which will be released at a later date. We are delighted to report that this latest deal takes the tally to over 500 aircraft transactions concluded by Skyworld Aviation, primarily in the regional aircraft market.

On behalf of Markpoint International Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of two Saab 340A aircraft, serial numbers 051 and 136. The aircraft were previously in operation with Mali Air Express and have since been in long term storage in Orebro, Sweden. The aircraft have been sold on to Western Air of the Bahamas.  Western Air is headquartered at San Andros International Airport and its current fleet consists of five Saab 340As which operate daily scheduled flights between Nassau, San Andros, Congo Town, Bimini, and Freeport, Grand Bahama. Western Air also has a charter division that offers on-demand charters throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, Central and South America. The airline is currently the largest privately owned airline in the Bahamas and employs over 140 full time employees.

S-Air c6af1On behalf of Blue Islands of Guernsey, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of two Jetstream 32 aircraft to start up airline S-Air of Austria. S-Air took delivery of serial number 915 in December 2014 which is currently located in Malmö, Sweden. The sale of the second aircraft, serial number 873, closed yesterday and was ferried to Friedrichshafen, Germany. Both aircraft await interior and exterior refurbishment and will eventually bear the new registration marks OY-SGP and OY-ZEA.

Invitation to register "Expression of Interest" for the Sale and Leaseback of three 2011 CRJ 900 NG aircraft

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale and leaseback of six EMB 170’s from LOT Polish Airlines to a global private investment firm. The aircraft are 2004/5 vintage - serial numbers 17000029, 17000035, 17000065, 17000069, 17000073, 17000074. Skyworld Aviation was exclusively appointed by LOT to market their fleet of EMB 170 aircraft, and although all six aircraft will continue in revenue service with LOT some will be offered for sub lease during 2015. LOT Polish Airlines is a modern, European carrier bringing connectivity to CEE region with over 40 destinations in the world, including Europe, North America and Asia. High quality of services and professionalism of LOT crews have been honoured a number of times with the award for the best airline in Central and Eastern Europe.

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the exclusive appointment by air ambulance specialist Redstar Aviation (Turkey) to market a superb BAE Jetstream 32 aircraft. The aircraft is one of the finest examples on the market being a late build (1996) with low hours and cycles. It has a comprehensive set of avionics compliant with EU Ops 1 which includes an Autopilot. The onboard facilities are excellent,  with 19 grey leather seats, baggage pod, lavatory and an air conditioning freon system.

Acting on behalf of Largus Aviation AB of Sweden, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of a Fokker 50, serial number 20194, to MayAir of Mexico. The aircraft, now registered as XA-UUU, arrived in Cancύn at the end of January. MayAir is part of Cancύn Travel Concepts, serving the Yukatán peninsula in South Eastern Mexico with regional flights from Cancύn. One of the main routes will be to the popular tourist destination Cozumel, one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world.
