Skyworld Aviation is an aircraft marketing organisation, specialising in the regional sector with offices in the UK, France and Canada. Established in 1996 as Skyways Aviation, we offer consultancy, marketing and lease/asset management services to a large client base worldwide. The change in name was triggered in 2009 when we broke away from our relationship with Skyways in Sweden to focus on further developing relationships worldwide. To date we have concluded over 550 aircraft related transactions for around 200 clients to a value of over $1bn making Skyworld Aviation one of the most successful aircraft marketing organisations in the regional sector. A brief history
Skyworld Aviation started trading as Skyways Aviation in 1996 and the company quickly established itself in the regional aircraft market through its links with Skyways, a dominant airline in the Scandinavian market at the time, operating over 50 regional aircraft at its peak. Skyways Aviation was tasked with managing the fleet of the airline during a period of significant change in the Swedish domestic market when several airlines were merging into one.
Once the main period of change was complete, Skyways Aviation began to branch out into third party fleet management and aircraft trading. In 2009 Skyways Aviation became an independent organisation and rebranded as Skyworld Aviation, giving freedom to expand the customer base, explore new territories and diversify business with new aircraft types. Skyworld Aviation soon became one of the leaders in the industry and remains one of the dominant players in regional aircraft trading.
Skyworld Aviation provides the following primary services. We also provide ancilliary services such as consultancy, technical advice, advice on aircraft sale/lease contracts. As part of our ongoing lease management services, Skyworld Aviation is offering a well presented EASA compliant ERJ 145 EP for onward lease which has recently been returned from a UK-based airline after 12 years of service. The aircraft is being offered on behalf of the owner Largus Aviation AB of Sweden. G-RJXR (serial number 145070) is currently located in Aberdeen, UK, where it will remain under a short term storage programme after it is formally handed back to the owner.
The aircraft has recently been through a C check (approx. 100 FH flown since), and will be made available to the next operator with fresh white exterior paint. It is beautifully presented with a 48 leather seat interior, fully equipped galley with ovens, large wardrobe and drop down air stair door.
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the delivery of a further Saab 2000 to Skywork Airlines of Switzerland. Serial number 012 (now registered as HB-IZI) left Täby Air Maintenance, Sweden on Friday evening after undergoing a work package with the Saab aircraft Part 145 maintenance specialist. This aircraft joins five existing Saab 2000 aircraft at Skywork, three of which Skyworld Aviation placed with the operator. HB-IZI was previously operated by BRA - Braathens Regional Airlines and is owned by shipping company Thun AB of Sweden. The aircraft has been placed on long term lease with Skywork. Thun AB is one of Skyworld's longest standing clients with the first aircraft placed for the organisation back in 1996.
Skyworld Aviation has been appointed to provide lease management services for five aircraft relating to four Saab 2000’s and one ERJ 145. Three Saab 2000 aircraft are owned by Swedish shipping company Erik Thun AB and one is on sub lease from Eastern Airways (UK), all operating with Skywork Airlines of Switzerland. Skyworld Aviation had previously arranged all four leases. The fifth aircraft, relating to an ERJ 145, is on a long term placement with new operator to the type Madagasikara Airways of Madagascar. Skyworld will be providing the service on behalf aircraft leasing firm RESIDCO.
