Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the exclusive appointment by air ambulance specialist Redstar Aviation (Turkey) to market a superb BAE Jetstream 32 aircraft. The aircraft is one of the finest examples on the market being a late build (1996) with low hours and cycles. It has a comprehensive set of avionics compliant with EU Ops 1 which includes an Autopilot. The onboard facilities are excellent, with 19 grey leather seats, baggage pod, lavatory and an air conditioning freon system.
Acting on behalf of Largus Aviation AB of Sweden, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of a Fokker 50, serial number 20194, to MayAir of Mexico. The aircraft, now registered as XA-UUU, arrived in Cancύn at the end of January. MayAir is part of Cancύn Travel Concepts, serving the Yukatán peninsula in South Eastern Mexico with regional flights from Cancύn. One of the main routes will be to the popular tourist destination Cozumel, one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world.
Acting on behalf of Blue Islands, Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sale of a second Jetstream 32 aircraft, serial number 915, G-ISLD. The aircraft has been sold to an undisclosed European start up airline. The operator is expected to take a second aircraft later this year, the last from the Blue Islands fleet. G-ISLD was delivered on 18th December in Malmo, Sweden where it will remain in storage until it undergoes painting in Bournemouth, UK. The new airline is due to start operating mid-2015.
